TG/HDL Ratio Calculator

TG/HDL Targets for Insulin Resistance
< 1.5 (mg/dL)
< 0.65 (mmol/L)
Ratio (mg/dL): 1.50
Ratio (mmol/L): 0.60

Why do triglycerides and HDL have different conversion factors?

Because mg/dL is a measure of mass per volume, while mmol/Lmeasures the number of molecules per volume. Converting from mass to moles requires dividing by the molecular weight, which differs for triglycerides and HDL.
